The lighthouse here has been helping ships avoid the area’s coral reefs for over 130 years, and from it it’s a short walk to Taiwan’s southernmost point.
  • Continuing around the cape brings us to Longpan Park, a wild realm of crumbling cliffs and wind-battered grasslands. By the time we transfer you back to your hotel or the transport hub of your choice, you’re sure to agree that Kenting is a great place to throw off the stresses of urban living.

From a polluted industrial center of two million people, today Kaohsiung is a green city of lush parks, waterside cafes, art galleries and museums. You will definitely fall in love with Kaohsiung from the minute you arrive here!

You will be picked up at your hotel or the port in Kaohsiung at 9:30 AM. You will visit Takao British consulate residence, a lovely red-brick architecture that was built in 1879 to serve as the British consul's abode. Stop by the Wude Hall that was completed in 1924 and originally used as a martial-arts training center for police and youth.

You will also visit the Rose Mary Catholic Church. The church is the first Catholic church in Taiwan and one of the top 3 holy churches in Asia. Later on go to the popular Pier 2 Art Center that was once an abandoned and forgotten warehouse buried in history, and now a must-go for any visitors.
