It's called Golden Light Puppet. TV Hand Puppet is a new style of puppetry started to appear on TV since 70s. The puppets are bigger, more gorgeous and more delicate. It has become very popular among the young generation in Taiwan.

TaipeiEYE is located in the old cultural center of Taipei on a boulevard lined with trees. The walls of the elegant venue are decorated with traditional masks, puppets and other intricate artifacts. The entire experience makes for a memorable evening in Taipei.

When the curtain rises, marvel at the multiple talents of the performers, who combine dance, vocals, music, acrobatics and other theatrical arts in their performances.

Plan to go early if you’d like to observe the performers putting on their makeup and colorful costumes. Keep your camera handy for photo ops; during intermission and after the show, you may meet some of the performers when they come into the theater to interact with the audience.
